Day 1.
- Arrive at Edinburgh or Glasgow Airport
- Morning: Private airport transfers to your hotel in Glasgow.
- Located close to all the main attractions in the city centre This hotel provides a full breakfast buffet and free in-room WiFi is available to all guests.

Day 2.
- Breakfast
- Morning: Picked up from hotel and a visit to the Kelvingrove art gallery & Museum & joined by your local companion. Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum opened in 1901 and is a firm favourite with local people and visitors. It has stunning architecture and a family friendly atmosphere. Explore our 22 galleries and discover everything from art to animals, Ancient Egypt to Charles Rennie Mackintosh and so much more.
- Afternoon: Short drive to the Botanical gardens. Glasgow Botanic Gardens is located in the heart of the city’s West End by the River Kelvin and contains a variety of plant collections, woodland copses and riverside walks as well as the famous Kibble Palace. The Botanic Gardens Tearoom is the latest addition to the gardens and can be found in the former curator’s house near Kibble Palace.
- Transfer back to the hotel

Day 3.
- Breakfast
- Picked up and joined again by your local companion then travel to the The Burrell Collection. A staggering 9,000 objects form The Burrell Collection are housed here. According to the Burrells’ specific wishes, it was to be housed where people could appreciate the art in a countryside setting. After many years of searching for a suitable site, the opening of the museum in Pollok Country Park in 1983 was received with much critical and public acclaim. This magnificent collection in its purpose-built home surrounded by beautiful parkland, is ranked amongst the most significant civic museum collections in the UK.

Day 4.
- Breakfast
- Picked up at 10am and met by your local tour guide
- Glasgow city centre half day tour with guide and transport.
- There is so much to see in a tour of Glasgow you will be spoilt for choice. Whether you are a fan of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, interested in our wonderful city centre architecture, or want to see how Glasgow has reinvented itself over the years.
- The tour start in the oldest part of Glasgow, home to the Cathedral, the Necropolis and the oldest surviving house, and where Glasgow’s history really begins.
- Learn about the city’s patron saint, St Mungo, and how Glasgow grew as an important religious and trading centre before becoming the biggest ship-building city in the world.
- As you make your way to George Square in the city centre, you will pass some of our famous murals and walk through the Merchant City, a chance both to admire the magnificent buildings erected by the merchants and to see the modern transformations that have taken place in recent years.
- We will visit Glasgow Green, the city’s oldest public space, where you can see the famous Doulton fountain, find out why there’s a building with a façade like that of the Doge’s Palace in Venice and learn about the People’s Palace.
- George Square is dominated by the magnificent City Chambers, a result of the wealth and power of Glasgow in the 19th century.

Day 5.

- Picked up for full day trip to the Scottish Highlands with our local companion. Enjoy a fantastic full day adventure in the Highlands, visiting mysterious Loch Ness, where you can go monster spotting on the shores, the classic scenery for which Scotland is famed: Glen Coe, the Great Glen, Highland Perthshire and maybe even catching a glimpse of the mighty Ben Nevis along the way!
- With a stop off at The newest Whisky distillery nestled in the Cairngorms National Park, The Cairn is a new home for adventure seekers and whisky lovers to explore and be inspired by the very best Scotland has to offer. Discover awe-inspiring views, passionate people and extraordinary tastes and flavours, shaped our whisky.
- A trip around the spirit production process is then followed by an absorbing foray through the art of maturation.
- Against the awe-inspiring backdrop of the river Spey, looking towards the Cairngorm mountains, Explorers complete their voyage of discovery with a trip to our top floor hosting lounge to taste the future: a dram of our CRN57 12 Year Old, and 18 year Old blended malts, to anticipate the style and character of the whiskies to be released from The Cairn in years to come.
Day 6.
- Lunchtime: Check out hotel and travel to Edinburgh, joined by your local companion
- Stopping off on-route in Falkirk
- Marvel at the sheer size and majestic presence of these iconic landmarks, standing as guardians of the land. Welcome to The Helix Visitor Centre, your gateway to discovering the wonders of The Kelpies and the enchanting world of The Helix. Step inside our 5-star Visitor Centre and experience a captivating space where creativity meets heritage.

Day 7.
- Morning: Picked up from hotel for a day trip to St Andrews, joined with local companion.
- Discover the town’s fascinating past, explore its stunning surroundings and experience golfing history in the place where it all began.
- The remains of St Andrews Cathedral, which was Scotland’s largest cathedral and most magnificent church, show how impressive it used to be.
- The museum houses an outstanding collection of early and later medieval sculptures and other relics found on the site, including the magnificent St Andrews Sarcophagus of Pictish date. The precinct walls are particularly well preserved.
- St Rule’s Tower, in the precinct, is part of the first church of the Augustinian canons at St Andrews built in the early 12th century.
- On the way home we will make a stop at the charming fishing village of Anstruther, located in the beautiful East Neuk of Fife. Anstruther is the largest among the many fishing villages that line the coastline of this region, and it’s situated just south of St Andrews. With its historic charm and stunning coastal views, it’s no wonder Anstruther is a popular destination for day-trippers and tourists.
- Dinner of Fish and Chips at the famous Anstruther Fish Bar and Restaurant, the home of the most delicious, award-winning Scottish seafood, set in the heart of Fife’s beautiful East Neuk.
Day 8.
- Breakfast then a free day in Edinburgh to soak up the atmosphere of the festival or explore the many souvenir, tartan and woollen mill shops on the Royal mile.

- Welcome to the Tea Rooms at Edinburgh Castle where you can indulge yourself to an afternoon tea experience, which also includes admission to the castle.
- Our Tea Room is located in the heart of the castle, Crown Square. The walls have been painted a rich Dutch blue, embellished with touches of copper/brass, vintage mirrors and botanical foliage to keep things feeling fresh, modern but still with a rugged Scottish ambience. The perfect setting to relax and enjoy afternoon tea.
- What a way to end your Scottish trip with The Spirit of Scotland Show

Enjoy an unforgettable evening of traditional Scottish dance, storytelling, music and bagpipes, located in the centre of Edinburgh. In addition to the entertainment, your ticket also includes a four-course meal and one free drink. - On arrival at the venue, you will be seated at your table, before experiencing the traditional ceremony of the haggis. The Scottish national dish will be piped in, and Robert Burns’ famous Address to the Haggis will be recited before you get to sample the dish.
- You will then enjoy a Scottish dinner, as the show commences. Sit back and let the cast of musicians, traditional Scottish dancers, singers and our piper entertain you with traditional Scottish music, poetry and Highland dancing.
- The dancers will perform the world-famous Scottish sword dance and the traditional Highland Fling, and you will enjoy traditional Scottish songs, including Auld Lang Syne and the Skye Boat Song, famous from the TV series Outlander.
- 10pm; Dropped off at hotel
Day 10.
- Morning: Check out hotel and private transfer to Edinburgh Airport based upon your flight time.
