Day 1 — Arrival Athens (October 9, 2026)
Pick-up at Athens Airport and transfer to the 4-star Stanley Hotel in Athens. In the evening, enjoy a group
drink at the hotel’s rooftop bar, followed by dinner in the hotel restaurant.

Day 2 — Riviera of Attiki
The Temple of Poseidon is a must-visit for its historic ruins and scenic views of the Aegean Sea. The remains of the original structure and the Doric columns still standing are as imposing today as they were centuries ago. In the early afternoon, travel to the scenic region of Attiki and the southernmost tip of the Attica peninsula, Cape Sounion. There, we will visit the Temple of Poseidon, dramatically overlooking the Aegean Sea, and receive our first introduction to Greek Mythology from a licensed tour guide. On the return trip to Athens, we will stop for a group dinner.

Day 3 — Athens Highlights
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up in an accessible van for a guided
4-hour tour of Athens. During the tour, you will visit famous sights such as the Acropolis, Olympic
Stadium and Syntagma Square. Our knowledgeable guide will provide information on the city’s history.

Day 4 — Free day in Athens
Enjoy the freedom to explore Athens on your own! We will provide a morning transfer from the hotel to the city center, giving you the day to discover the vibrant culture, historical landmarks, and local cuisine at your leisure. In the afternoon, a return transfer will bring you back to the hotel.

Day 5 — Athens to Katerini
We depart in the morning from Athens to Katerini. On our journey north, we’ll stop in the charming coastal city of Volos for a lunch break. After lunch, we will continue our drive to Katerini, where you’ll arrive at an authentic Greek resort with views of the ocean and Mount Olympus. Dinner will be provided at the hotel (included).

Day 6 — Vergina + Cooking class
Today, we travel to the historic site of Vergina, one of the most significant archaeological locations in Greece. Once the ancient capital of Macedon, Vergina is home to the Royal Tombs, including that of King Philip II, father of Alexander the Great. Explore the remarkable underground museum built around the royal burial site, where you’ll see stunning artifacts, golden treasures, and beautifully preserved frescoes. This unforgettable visit offers a deep dive into the glory and legacy of ancient Macedonia.

Day 7 — Thessaloniki
After breakfast, we will depart for Thessaloniki, Greece’s vibrant second-largest city. Our exploration
begins with a visit to the renowned Archaeological Museum, followed by a leisurely walk along the seafront promenade. We’ll stop for a photo opportunity at the iconic statue of Alexander the Great and learn about the fascinating history of the White Tower — one of Thessaloniki’s most famous landmarks.

Day 8 — Pella and Edessa Waterfalls
Start your day with a journey into the heart of ancient Macedonia as we visit the archaeological site of Pella, the birthplace of Alexander the Great. Walk among the ruins of this once-glorious capital, where you’ll discover impressive mosaics, the foundations of grand houses, and public buildings that reveal the
city’s historical importance. Following the site visit, we continue to the Archaeological Museum of Pella, which houses a fascinating collection of artifacts from the ancient city. Highlights include intricately detailed mosaics, sculptures, pottery, and personal items that bring ancient Macedonia vividly to life.
After immersing ourselves in history, we head to Edessa, a picturesque town known for its natural beauty. Enjoy a relaxing lunch near the famous waterfalls, where the sound of cascading water and lush surroundings create the perfect setting for a leisurely meal. Take some time to stroll through the charming park area around the waterfalls and enjoy the views before we return to our hotel for dinner.

Day 9 — Dion & Winery
We begin the day with a visit to the Archaeological Park of Dion, a site of great historical and spiritual
importance at the foot of Mount Olympus. Stroll through the beautifully preserved ruins of temples,
baths, theatres and ancient streets, surrounded by lush greenery and flowing streams that give this site a

Day 10 — Free Day in Katerini
Transfers may be provided to the City of Katerini, or to the hotel’s private beach. Alternatively, you may enjoy a relaxing day at the hotel pool. Dinner provided at the hotel.
Day 11 — Katerini to Athens
Departing from Katerini, we’ll begin the journey to Athens for the final overnight stay before your departure. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 12 — Departure (October 20, 2026)
Transfer to the Athens International Airport at the scheduled time.
