Arrival in Palermo…start your adventure
Transfer from the Airport of Palermo to the Hotel. Once at the hotel, meet your trip leader and join him/her for a Welcome Ice cream and an orientation tour of the area where the hotel is located; Time at leisure. Welcome Dinner in a nearby restaurant (roughly 400 yards). Overnight stay – Mercure Hotel Palermo 4*
May 22nd
Palermo
After breakfast, meet your local guide and start of a panoramic bus tour to visit some of the main attractions outside the old town of Palermo; stop near the famous Quattro Canti square and visit of the pedestrian area of Palermo. Street Food lunch at the famous street market “Il Capo”; In the Afternoon: visit of a Puppet theatre with a 45 minutes show included. Dinner in a restaurant near the hotel (roughly 400 yards). Overnight stay
May 23rd
Monreale and Cooking Class in Palermo
After breakfast, meet your local guide and drive to Monreale for a guided visit of the famous Cathedral of Monreale; this is not just a church but also a real museum of history of art where the Normans and the Arabs mixed their architecture with Bizantine mosaics on gold ground. The visit includes the beautiful cloister, another masterpiece from the time of the Normans. Lunch in a local restaurant. Afternoon: cooking class in a local bistrot and dinner. Overnight stay
May 24th
Castelbuono and Cefalù
After breakfast, meet your trip leader and drive to Castelbuono: this small village on the Madonie regional park is a very quiet town, out of the crowd of the big city with a special care of the environment. Once you reach Castelbuono, start of a tour that includes a panettone and manna tasting, two typical products of the area. Visit of the ancient medieval castle from outside. Lunch in a local restaurant specialized in mushrooms. In the early afternoon, transfer to Cefalù to visit this beautiful town by the sea. Transfer back to Palermo. Dinner and overnight stay
May 25th
Marsala Salt Pans and Wine tasting
After breakfast, meet your trip leader and drive to Marsala: western Sicily is famous for the production of a wine that is produced in Sicily from the ancient time and still today is worldwide famous. Once in Marsala you will start the visit at the saltpans. Salt production was famous already at the time of the Romans, so, a visit at the saltpans is a must do in Sicily and it is possible to make a salt tasting. After this visit, transfer to a local winery for a wine tasting and a light lunch. Transfer back to Palermo, dinner at the hotel and overnight stay
May 26th
Agrigento and Piazza Armerina
After breakfast, meet your Trip leader and drive to Agrigento. Upon arrival meet your local guide and visit of the famous Valley of the temples; lunch in a local restaurant. In the Afternoon, transfer to Piazza Armerina and Visit of the Roman Villa del casale with the beautiful mosaics from the 3rd Century AC. In the late afternoon arrival in Catania. Dinner and Overnight stay.
May 27th
Catania
After breakfast, meet your local guide and drive to the city center of Catania. Visit of the colorful fish Market and Piazza Duomo, one of the most beautiful square of Catania. After lunch, drive to the WWII museum for a guided visit. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.
May 28th
Siracusa
After breakfast, meet your trip leader and drive to Siracusa. Meet your local guide and visit of Ortygia, a small island right in front Sicily where is possible to admire some on the most beautiful example of baroque style. After the visit, drive to a private house to experience a Home Hosted lunch! In the afternoon Visit of the archeological park. Transfer back to Catania. Dinner and Overnight stay.
May 29th
Catania
After breakfast, drive to the city center of Catania and time at leisure to enjoy the town on your own. In the afternoon pick up and drive back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
May 30th
Taormina
After breakfast, meet your trip leader and drive to Taormina. Start the visit of the town that includes the beautiful Greek-Roman theatre. Lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch, time at leisure. Transfer to Catania. Dinner and overnight stay
May 31st
Mt Etna
After breakfast, meet your local guide and drive to Mt Etna. Visit of this unique area driving up to 5,500 ft. above the sea level. After the visit, drive to a local winery for a wine tasting and rustic lunch. Farewell dinner in a restaurant in Catania and overnight stay.
June 1st
Departure day
After breakfast, transfer to the airport of Catania and departure to the USA.

Transportation as per program with 2 Mercedes Sprinter Vehicles (please, notice that we will use 2 vehicles, connected each other with a professional walky talky system so both vehicles will be always in touch. Each vehicle is suitable for maximum 9 passengers and equipped with an elevating platform: on each vehicle we can transport maximum 2 wheelchairs open. If we have a group of 12 we can use 2 vehicles in case 2 travellers are able to leave the wheelchair and make few steps, in case we need to transport 6 wheelchairs open at the same time, we have to include another vehicle)

Booking Terms and Conditions
TOTAL COST FOR THE ABOVE MENTIONED SERVICES IS: $7392.00 per person based on double occupancy.
Payment
- Deposit of 30% ($2218.00 per person) to confirm booking must be received by July 15, 2024.
- Deposit will not be refunded for cancellation unless we fill your space.
- Balance to be fully paid 75 days prior to arrival (March 6, 2025)
Cancellation Policy
Refunds can only be made with travel insurance or if we can fill your space.
